본 전시는 ‘서울은 미술관 프로젝트’의 일환으로 숙대입구역 8번 출구에 대한 문제점 발견을 시작으로 지역민들과 학생, 상인들이 함께 굴다리의 모습과 인식을 바꾸는 공공예술 프로젝트입니다.

이를 위해 본 전시에서는 낙후한 굴다리에 의해 지역과 사람들 간의 연결 부재를 증강현실미술을 통해 이곳을 지나가는 사람들에게 긍정적이며 희망적인 메시지를 주는 시민 참여형 예술프로젝트입니다.

본 프로젝트를 통해 이곳은 스쳐지나가는 통로의 의미에서 너와 나의 만남의 장소가 되고 때로는 너와 나를 잇는 매개체로서의 장소적 의미를 갖게 됩니다.

We chose to augment the tunnel connecting Yongsan and Sookmyung Women’s University.

We give the positive message to people using this tunnel and the tunnel will be the role of important medium to connecting community of Youngsan, Seoul, South Korea.
